I agree with Raiser, while they don't make that big of an impact on the screen(save for the wonderful kick Lotte delivered to Chrono xD) they are pivotal to the plot, without them the Wolkenritter and the Nanoha team would have understanded each other much quickier.
Also they dare to "kill" the four greatest characters of A's.
