Thanks for the reply Kitten! Some of these sound really interesting like, baccano!, ga-rei-zero, and Toaru Majutsu no index. I'm surprised I've never heard of Sword of the Stranger because that looks great too. You also reminded me of Monster, which I had seen before but seem to have forgotton.
