Eh? but won't oxidize, while you digest it and become toxic?
I know that fumes ARE toxic, for example if you break an old thermometer it's better to avoid breathing it because it gives minute quantities, and when mercury lamps give, they are in fact poisonous long term, and short term dangerous for the eyes...
Not to mention that it would probably block or at least stay forever at you stomach, intestines (considering its weight), and make digestion forever harder? Dunno, not a doctor, but sounds like a really bad idea to drink it
