I did not feel episode six to be boring at all, on the contrary, I got some questions answered related to Ikki and a mystery solved. Besides, this particular episode shed into light a little bit about Joker.
After a two episodes absence, Joker returned to meet Heroine, and his words to her let me know that he knows more a lot what's happening to Heroine.
Recall the conclusion to the first episode when Heroine gets assaulted by three mysterious girls telling her she broke the promise...
Spoiler:
This mystery gets answered in this episode.
All three of them belonged to the Ikki Fan Club with Rika as the President.
The mystery about the daily report which was anonymously brought upon Heroine during the course of the Ikki-arc turned out be from the fan club.
I brushed it aside in the previous episodes, but when it was brought so frequently about in this one I quickly began theorizing for possible suspects, starting with Ikki.
However, in about one-quarter to the episode Heroine recalls her experience with the bully girls from the first world; them arguing that she broke the promise. From that flashback, then I quickly got a hunch that the thing about the daily report was their doing.
Three-fifths more into the episode proved my hunch right about the Ikki fan club and Rikka being the culprits behind the Daily report.
Practically, their ways and attitudes at treating other girls, particularly to those girls who seem to show geniune affection to answer back Ikkis' feelings, are plain evil and come to show me how those girls are devoid of self-confidence and being sociopathic.
They regard Ikki as their untouchable, Prince in a White-Horse that must be equally shared for a limited period amongst themselves; how sick is that to impose time limits upon a relationship.
They won't accept any other girls dating, being familiar with, or intimate to Ikki outside their circle group of selfish, obsessed misfits, unless those outsiders are initiated into their group. Still, they won't forgive anyone for not upholding to the promise:
1. Keep it steady with the daily report. That is for the current girl dating Ikki she must write a detailed account of every day that she gets to enjoy in the company of Ikki without fail and hand it over to the other members so that they can monitor her activities.
2. Not going overboard. That is the current girl must not be too intimate and too close to Ikki like, for example, sharing a very passionate kiss with him. Failure to comply would mean the other girls from the group stepping in and forcefully breaking up the relationship.
3. Three months limit. The standoff between Heroine and Rikka at the sixth episode's climax is self-explanatory.
Again, Heroine is put to another death-and-life situation....
