I watched the preview for ep. 2, and the story it will cover is from volume 4—chapter 27. Unless they're somehow conflating Elmer and Vincent in the anime, I don't think this will show the backstory of how Baroqueheat joined up with Rahzel and Alzeid.
It's a oneshot chapter, of which there are very few of after Baroqueheat joins up. Maybe they want to do some simple stories before starting the longer ones. But it's not a bad sign, since the episode title is the same as the chapter title, which makes it look like the episode will cover only one chapter. Maybe this series won't rush through things after all. Still, even if they do go back and show Baroqueheeat's meeting with them later, the way Baroqueheat is introduced in the manga (you don't know if he's friend or foe when he first shows up) will be somewhat ruined by first showing him as part of their trio.
