I also agree! Nobuse is not a bad guy in anyway.
His bad points? Pushy, obsessive, weird sense of humor, Stubborn, becomes a clown when trying to impress a girl, Asked his best friend to help him confess to a girl, follows the 3 second rule for dropped food[which girl will get a fussy feeling from this].
His good points, Loyal, Loyal, Goodfriend, Loyal, Madly in love with Aiko and a bonafide nice guy(but that usually doesn't get you the girl).
He will end with Aiko by default if Aiko doesn't get together with Shin. I don't see Aiko and nobuse being more than highschool sweethearts If Aiko goes to college. If she doesn't go to college, they will get married. If she goes to college, as soon as Aiko meet someone like Shin , nobuse is a goner.
