i cant find it but it was in one of the older SJ mangas
kubo sais it had to do with the collor of their uniforms
he wanted to call the show black and then he decied to do the oposite of the collor and went with white
but it sounded to blah so he did bleach instead of white
also he said that origionaly the show was suposed to be with guns not swords
