1. I think it was more that Shinku reasoned that Suigintou was incomplete because of her first memories of her ("...the one on the shelf") and the fact that Gin couldn't funtion properly (Shinku could walk from the moment she was first wound.)
2. Yes, probably more than a century beforehand.
3. Jun was surprised, not Shinku.
