I have alot that I've been collecting back from 6 years ago. I don't collect anymore since it is piling up.
I bought some recent kits from SEED but I don't have the space anymore so I've given up for quite some time.
I use regular spraycan paint to color it all at once before building, and paint individual small parts. Then I use fine tip sharpies which are great for the panel lines to add to the finish. I don't know anything about painting the models to make it realistic but I just keep it simple and it still looks great.
