It's revealed that the eldest Shinomiya brother has an arranged marriage set up for Kaguya. Also, in exchange for bringing Hayasaka back, Kaguya is expected to follow his orders when he comes the next head.

He doesn't want Kaguya to have a better degree than her future fiancee, so he doesn't want her to go to Stanford. Of course, Kaguya does intend to fight this, but she wants to do it from within, in hopes that she can prevent her brother from becoming the next head.

Miyuki offers to stay in Japan with her, but Kaguya suggests that he sticks to his dream, which is revealed that he is going to Stanford to become successful to win his Papa's company back.
