I just finished the anime of
Peach Girl.
I must say this is one awfull terrible anime! i only finished it because I wanted to know how it ends. i've read the Suzuka, Marmelade boy en Kare First love before and those 3 kinda are fun to read, cos it's about happy couples who have some troubles but most of the time, it's fun to watch / read. On the contrary, most of the time when seeing PeachGirl, I only get to feel miserable ....
The following is about the story and I'm just so mad at the moment that I want to unleash my frustrations about Peach Girl to the world, so don't read this if u don't want to be bored or spoiled

Peach Girl is a story about a girl who can't decide between 2 boys and she switches over because of the most stupid reasons! Also the characters do the most stupid things when in real time, when u think a bit logically, situations like that could never happen.
It starts with that girl Sae who is, at least in the first half of the anime, a really annoying person. The couple of that time: Momo-chan and Touji always believe what others say, without even talking to each other. Even when they know that those people want to break them up, they still believe the lies ...
Also for example at the end, Momo-Chan promised to wait only 5 minuits, and if Okayasy didn't show up, she'll forget about him! How stupid is that!!
Another thing I don't understand is, why Momo-chan doesn't realise that that guy Touji is a complete ass! She should have already known when he had "practised" kissing with Sae. But later his stupidity grows to fenomenal heights when Sae blackmails him to break up with Momo-chan and else she'll distribute those pictures of here and that movie star or something to the press. He just agrees and abandons the girl he loves and even goes out with Sae for about a year or something .... and when doing that, he really really hurts Momo-chan, like when he leaves her outside in the snow for a couple of hours. In real life, noone would agree with Sae, cos u can't make deals with terrorists... but Touji is too stupid to realise that.
Then, after Momo-chan realises Touji did break up to "protect" her, i was like WTF! She should be way pissed with him and skick his fag ass!! But nooo, she goes out with him again... stupid.
The final thing I hate is that when it's so clear that that guy Okayasu really loves Momo-chan and he has never betrayed her or hurt her, she still doesn't realise it untill the very end...
So all this left me really frustrated and I can't understand wy the author made the story like this ...
I didn't completely hate Peach Girl though. There were moments that I enjoyed it, most of the time when the couple would make up again after a fight, but unfortunetaly, those moments never did last very long...
