Spoiler for The Hybrid Effect: Understand Magi's IS Powersuit Hybrid: The advent of the DOVE incident managed to spin Magi's life out of control as his new suit is compared to an IS in terms of performance. However, there are several things that differientiates it from IS... Limited Movement abilities: The IS Hybrid is not a flight capable suit, while it maintains some vertical mobility, it's ability to fly is limited at best and excels at land engagements to compensate. No Closed Form: The Closed form of IS allows for easy storage for ordinary life, but the power suit is unable to be lugged around like a personal IS. It can be warped in and suited up on site. Unconnected to the IS Core Network: The DOVE system was designed to interface only with PLUS pilots, thus it is immune to infiltration by outside parties that could threaten Crest's Interests. Limited Barrier defense: The suit lacks an absolute barrier (One of the things Crest couldn't emulate) and instead relies on thicker armor plating in support of the defense. In duels, to be considered "defeated", the IS must wear out it's "Shell Armor".
