At any rate, the anime filler expansion of the fight was fairly good. I didn't quite like the fist fight portion due to it's resemblance to DBZ mid-air fist fights, so it brings up a bad taste to my mouth. I can probably see it as a bit of a reference/homage to typical shonen fights, though, as FT does make use of shonen tropes.
Not to mention Erza's whole beatdown, and yet still finding the strength to stand and win is fairly typical of it, heh. |

Mahoukyou No Tabibito? Maybe I should go and watch again to make sure.
