Thanks for that. It very neatly explains a few things that were left out in the series. Such as how Madoka and Mami were there just in time to save Homura from Isabel. They were worried and were following her after school.
More important is Madoka telling Homura about the cat. It lets her know when and
where to begin her intervention to keep Madoka from becoming a magical girl starting with timeline 4.
