Also, I'm not sure, but from a few (Babelfish FTL! >_<) translations of posts lying around (on top of blatant references to G Gundam's 'Shining Finger'), it seems that the circular contraption embedded in CL-2's clawed hand can act as an electric shocker - and it might have been Jeremiah's instrument of doom. So, yeah, it might have literally fried Jeremiah and his KF.
