I don't think it was a spoiler, because we're in a novel thread talking about the novel :P. At least that what I learned from Deacon Blues
One of the reason Nobuna is going to be mad when Yoshiharu returned with Hanbei abandoning Inabayama castle, aside of jealousy, is that she was in a hurry to take back Mino. She wanted to prove that Dousan's decision to entrust her with his dream was not a mistake. She knew that Dousan don't have much long to live.
I don't really keep count on who cried the most, but I think Nobuna cries more than Hanbei. Mostly the crying scenes were for romantic purposes I think.
Spoiler for too long, so I put in the spoiler. During Nobuna's retreat from Asai-Asakura forces:
Normal shooting of the matchlock is time consuming, as it takes time to reload, light up the hemp, and fire.
Yoshiharu's 'Three-stages shooting' which also came from his game knowledge involves dividing the rear guards into three groups: different person will do the different jobs on the same matchlock. With this the shooting speed will be
3x faster.
Just before they shot the incoming Asakura forces, Zenki warned Yoshiharu to not to hesitate as it would cost his own life. If Yoshiharu is to be the only one surviving the attack, then it would destroy his heart. Yoshiharu then daydreamed about Nobuna.
Nobuna said to Yoshiharu "That's why when your heart aches, instead of praying to Buddha, chant the words "For the sake of the people of this land". It's okay to pour your sins on me alone" <---- I find this particular scene to be touching, albeit he was hallucinating.
Of course, the shootings by the Rear Guards were suck, as no one had learn to use the matchlocks before (it was a mistake on Akechi's side). But the pursuing forces were thrown into disarray, as their senses of vision was taken away by Zenki's summoned fog and Hanzou's smoke screen, and the sense of hearing was lost due to the matchlocks sound. vol 4 ch1
When Yoshiharu liken Nobuna to the Moon in ep5, Yoshiharu soon found that he was mistaken. Nobuna was indeed beautiful like the Moon, but her eyes shining with passions were like the Sun. v2 p194
I think when Hanbei said that the time has come for the Onmyouji to disappear in front of the sunshine quietly was referring to Nobuna.
Btw, considering that Himiko is going to appear in the anime, I assume the anime is going to stop when Imagawa will be crowned as the new Shougun. Which means whoever in the OP scene, except for the foot soldiers, will live. Dunno about the dude who appears after Matsunaga though
