Messiah!? That's too bad - I was hoping for "Flanker"
. Oh well, none of the variable fighters had their names used onscreen much (if at all) - the VF-0 was called the "Zero", and all subsequent fighters were called Valkyries. The obvious exception to this is the VF-1, but it doens't count for all sorts of reasons.
