@Archon: I do agree that Tomoyo is probably the most mature of Key's heroines. However, there's other mature heroines I prefer to her both in ISML (Hitagi, Rin, Horo) and outside (Matsuri (Sola), Tomoe (Hana-Saku Iroha), Tsugumi (Ever 17 - okay, VN example)) I tend to prefer. And yes, I do realize that a couple of those actually do lose their cool once or twice.

As for her attempts to be more feminine... no offense, but that came across a bit too "Key personality quirk" for me.

0utf0xZer0 Pretentious moe scholar Join Date: Oct 2006 Location: Vancouver, Canada Age: 37	Spoiler for Long explanations: ... some of these are hard but I think Kyou pretty much instanta wins eyes (I dig tsurime style and like the colour), legs (white kneesocks), and hair (nice feminine touch to counterbalance her tomboyish personality) for me. That's one hell of a potent combo. (Edit: And with the gym shed scene, she also has the best embarrassed expression.) Charlotte's combination of sweet, soft spoken, clever, and competitive (without being vindicative) wins her most appealing personality, although other characters have more interesting personalities. I also like Charlotte's "miko-ish" hairstyle (I dig miko), but it just can't beat Kyou's. Horo comes close on personality due to her playful, teasing side - which is superior to Charlotte's - but Charlotte's personality is just. that. sweet. Face... I've always thought Yuki had a cute face but Nadeko manages to top even her. I'm not sure what Shaft did here, but more so than any other anime character I can think of, she has an "adorable young girl's face". And Nochgo is right, she has the cutest smile too. Expressions... for "tsun" expressions, I liked Nochgo's suggestion of Victorique but Taiga edges her out. I actually prefer mature tsunderes (Hitagi/Rin/etc.) to pint-sized ones in general, but for cuteness of tsun, I have to go with tiny. For facial expressions overall, Nadeko is a true WMD (weapon of moe damage).
