And even more important, you can see the "bullets" in the revolver. It always annoys me when a police drama (or really any show/movie/whatever) has a camera shot looking up at a revolver, and you can see the empty chambers. Screw safety issues, if you are going to have a revolver on the stage, then you damn well better have some fake bullets in the chambers, or prop looks completely fake...
