Noticed that Disgaea 4 was in stock in Australia this week. No problems with supply though, since a stack of them are still on the shelves
I tried Disgaea DS a while ago, but was quite put off by the grinding and almost obsessive leveling system. I also didn't find Laharl and company to be particularly endearing, although I did persist far longer than with Disgaea 3, where as soon I started seeing Mao's dialogue, it immediately put me off.
This fourth iteration seems compelling because the characters seem more likeable in contrast to Disgaea 1 and 3, but would I be setting myself up for repeat disappointment in relation to the gameplay and leveling?
