Souchiro Hoshi and Houko Kuwashima have done quite a few roles together where there characters have had a strong relationship of sorts.
Infinite Ryvuis = Yuuki Aiba and Aoi Housen
Argento Soma = Takuto Kaneshiro/Ryu Soma and Harriet "Hattie" Bartholomew
Gundam SEED = Kira Yamato and Fllay Allstar
Gun X Sword = Michael Garret and Wendy Garret (Kikuko Inoue was in this as well a lot, traveled with Wendy for most of the series)
Don't really think there characters will have a relationship of any sorts in Frontier but who knows... Nanase could be working under Hoshi's character in the second half of the series for all we know.
