A horrible choice of words from those actors, but that's the reason why it's a constant fight against misogyny. Many people who partake in it, don't even realize it. It's so ingrained in culture that no one really stops to wonder why a character like Iron Man gets a pass, but a character like Black Widow is called a slut. |
Tasteless joke? yea. Misogyny? that's quite a reach. But then again, we live in the age where some people considers a man saying hello to a woman to be misogyny.
