Ok, I think I've read enough from the novels to make an educated opinion on this announcement. This show is gonna get people talking, for better or for worse, though I do believe it does quite a few things right, it's definetely above your usual VN.
That being said, yeah, I'm not looking forward to the infodumps either. Nor the "critiques" towards our MC this time around (I think he's ok).

Wow, that actually looks really good. Miyuki really is the best looking of the crew, though Mizuki isn't looking too bad either.
Wait... is Azusa supposed to be so clearly "bigger" than Erika? And why does Suzune look EXACTLY like the MC from Angelic Layer?
In fact, I'm getting some sort of CLAMP-vibe from that image, not sure why.
