I've never done this before... but even the awesome Mecha pr0nz of this episode can't carry this episode past the painful ending.

Macross is about romance and to build it up to this extent and leave it open... it feels like a cop-out in an attempt to keep all fans happy and buying stuff. Unfortunately, I think a lot of fans will feel turned off since the entire show was built around the triangle.

With the triangle now left unresolved, Macross F feel empty and as if it were a waste of time. To put how disappointed I am in better terms. I would have rather had a Alto x Ranka ending then to leave it as it is now.

Oh well, that's my rant. Even if I am disappointed, I remain optimistic about the movie's and OVA's that are sure to happen.
