Wow, I really didn't know that Noto-haters actually existed.
Anyway, everyone was saying this is going to be one heck of depressing series, so I couldn't help but check it out, mecha or no mecha. When I watched the (not so great quality) row it didn't impress me that much but now I tried the sub it seems something clicked and I got hooked. I didn't manage to remember the names of the characters but certainly considering there were so many, they were introduced in a good way and allowed the viewers to notice and remember bits of their personality.
