kubo has single handedly made the whole zanpakuto thing totally confusing. it's liek a giant "screw you to the bankai being a better shikai" thing.

soifon shikai: poison finger dart stabby thing.
soifon bankai: a big **** off missile launcher

gin's shikai: it gets longer and more stabby
gin's bankai: it gets longer faster and longer it turns to poisonous dust when it gets longer!?

matsumoto's shikai: turns to very sharp ash.
matsumoto's bankai: will probably extend the sword to 13km in length at 500 times the speed of sound -.-'

although i applaud the tenacity of kubo, making gin betray aizen (as it seems), does it have to be through the most ass pulling fashion? just when a 13km long 500 times the speed of sound bankai started to make sense...
