From what I've been hearing, part of the problem is the rampant exploiting of game bugs being accepted as normal and those people expecting everyone to be similarly... ethically flexible.

And here the problem expands to outright cheating (watch for teleporters and weapons doing way more damage than they should). Fortunately Ubisoft seems to be
taking action...
