Well, if you remember Mafuyu back during her first year of ISML in 2010, she finished two places above Fate. And then in ISML 2011, Fate finished two places above her. So relatively speaking, they're both about the same strength. With a close loss, it could have gone either way, and I think Mai being in same group with Fate-- it hurt her a lot more than it helped her. This year, they'll both struggle to make the regular season, and neither will likely succeed. And with it, bittersweet freedom!
