I think I've mentioned this before, but I'm calling that Aizen's Bankai ability is causing a body swap. That's why Aizen has been building up Ichigo to be stronger and stronger (the same time making himself more goofy looking), as Ichigo's unique parentage allows for a greater potential, which Aizen will take advantage of once he's squeezed the most out of his own body with the hougyoku.
