Guess he never counted on Kenichi having this much of an impact on Miu, and his mistake was not killing him the first time when he snatched Miu. He used Kenichi's supposed death as hate fuel for Miu. Not going to work now since he showed up alive. Which he obviously expects Miu to rectify.

As far as the rest. It was expected for Miu to lay Kenichi out like that. She never gave him a chance to do anything. Not like he would've anyways. Maybe being caged like an animal and knowing the girl love is going to off you might make him think a bit. Doubt it though since he's hard headed on the whole female thing. There are ways to beat her without knocking this shit out of her but has learned any grappling techniques? Can't remember since it's been forever when he learned something new.
