I find this kind of interesting though. Whenever I open a spoiler tag with images I see my browser actively try to load them like when it loads a fresh page. I can see the images as they're getting loaded up as well (ie, partially loading).
Just now I did a little test, I opened a page with an image in a spoiler tag, and pulled the plug on my internet. When I tried to open the spoiler tag no image loaded.
I plugged my internet cable back in, refreshed the page, opened the spoiler tag, and the image loaded up.
Maybe its just my browser? (I'm using Opera)
