Three cheers for variety and Index out of the overall Top 10 for the first time in 10 years! What a streak!
Index's ranking relies entirely on HP votes and last year it was lucky that
Oregairu wasn't there to steal its votes. I'm very interested to see what the HP numbers are this year and if there was a different weighting method used. Index was first in HP votes last year and to see it drop to 10th is staggering. Normally I'd blame
Oregairu but I don't see it ranked anywhere... Maybe
Classroom took the votes?
Kono LN ga Sugoi! looks at novels released in the October to September period each year. Index had 2 novels during this time: one meh and one amazing. But this has actually been one of Index's best years story-wise.
