This is a great display of what the average Higurashi episode is (Besides the lack of Keiichi): Kids savaging other kids, gruesome splattered bodies, friends confronting friends to stop violence and contemplating the murder of adults to make things better.
The chair scene became ten times creepier when I realized that technically this is an old lady smashing a chair against a little girl she doesn't know.
