I finally got a chance to watch this, and it was absolutely amazing.
I loved how beautifully animated it is and the story really sucks you in. All the characters are great. I love Violet, and Hodgkins, and Benedict, and Gilbert, and even that random guy who needed letter written to his sweetheart grabbed me.
The fantasy European-esque, post-WWI-ish setting is a great place for such a story and I can't wait to see the rest. I'm so happy this is on Netflix too, and that the Japan Netflix division actually put in the English subs and dub as well! (Not as common as you would think...)
