For me, it was the exact opposite. Lightning was one of the few characters I liked. She's been my PS3 desktop image since I beat the game.
But... I didn't get XIII-2 because I thought it looked really dumb and this game is not really giving off any better of a vibe for me even though Lightning is the main character. I WANT to be enthused by it, but I'm just not...
