Anyway it's not necessary for Rong to actually achieve hypersonic speeds at that point. "zero to hypersonic in 10" just indicated his acceleration. Also, airdrag and the incomplete PIC copy system was pretty much going to get him dead. Laura's words would be already taking IS class PIC into account.
