Just my two cents after having finished it ^^;
Spoiler for EP7:
Shannon and Yasu: The way I saw it, Shannon is Yasu's working name, while Yasu is the insulting name her fellow servants called her, so the good parts of her were given to Shannon (hence the high respect) and the bad parts went to Yasu. If you think about it, Shannon was hyped up to be the best servant there pretty much, but then when Yasu disappears, becomes the klutzy I-keep-misplacing-things girl we all know.
I took the whole "I performed magic!" scene to be "I learned how awesome it feels to trick someone." What I think happened was Yasu took her own keys, removed the master key for the mansion, placed it in Berune's locker, then when she wasn't looking, switched out her keys for Berune's. Magic! So when she decides to become a "witch," it was the decision to do pranks.
Shkannon: It might just be futile resistance, but I'm still not 100% sold on Kanon = Shannon. And people say "But Leon had no knowledge of Kanon, just like Shannon, and vice-versa!" Well, all that says to me is that in Leon's world, Kanon wasn't necessary. From Kanon's testimony in 6, he almost seemed to act like a grandson for Kinzo, so they might have brought him in to take care of/cheer up Kinzo, which he wouldn't need if Leon was alive.
Last thing really quick:
I think Bern's game was a lie to kill Leon. When she went to say in red truth that it was a fact, she got cut off. So "This is absolute truth" could have been "This is absolute truth, not." So she fills Leon with despair, gets to torture Ange again, and then "kill" him by showing him Kyrie shooting him. We were told it was a different Kakera, but it could have just been a magic illusion intended to harm him. She said she wants to ruin Beato's hope, so killing Leon is a pretty good way to.
Also, it was in red that a "happy ending won't be given." But if it works hard and makes its own happy ending, then that's no contradiction.
