Short answer is "No" ... it just so happens to sound somewhat similar. The names Chloe and Lawrence is obviously 'european' but I'm not having any luck with the linguistic roots of 'Horo' so far.
EDIT: Ah ha! "Horo" is just the word in the Ainu language for "wolf" (main reference: some writeups on a feature called "The Shaman King" in IMDB) ... still looking for a better reference.
