By far, the most moving speeches out of all the episodes + movie, is when Alastor reveals why he had chosen Shana:
"Friagne the Hunter...
You fool.
This girl will not explode. She has enough capacity to manifest and still have extra space within her.
She is a great being.
Did you not think a Lord from Guze would not choose whom to make a contract with?
Take this! The flame of retribution!"
I think everyone fell in love with Shana at that moment.
