i just said this but hes at least not the son of the second, the second died years before Cruz was born. And i think we should just wait ten more days and read the next chapter (perhaps seeing how this fight with Hatfield ends) before we confirm Cruz as the lord and savior.

Spoiler for Cruz's development: We'ves witnesed his sister blowing his arm off, we've witnessed his heart stopping for a few seconds before being saved by disk and eve, we've witnessed Saten and Arclight make sure he stays alive, we've witnessed glowing hands save him, we've witnessed Kanna seeing similarites between him and blade when he does something courageous and kind, we have not witnessed him having any sort of power yet.
