Ah cheating that would cover it nicely.
But the thing is, unless I missed it, we don't know the state of their relationship, just that Nanaka's mum had happy happy time with bio dad and that she ended up married to Nanaka's real dad. All I can see is that the assumption is that she was together with the bloke she married.
