I liked 2's gameplay, and was OK with its story.
But the general vibe I got from what I know about 3 is that "Hey, remember those last guys you played as who were a penal unit? Yeah, we're kinda like that. Only you're a lieutenant, not a private."
"...Oh, and we have hot women."
