I have a question that I'm fairly sure wasn't addressed in the rules, though considering the multitude of Death Note rules I could have missed it.
If a person has a hyphenated name from birth and the Death Note user didn't know and only put part of their name down would that count? Or would that be considered misspelling their name?
Example:
Jack Jefferson-Brown
Say only Jack Jefferson or Jack Brown were written in the death note. Would it count?
Would it depend on which of the names was his fathers or which was his mothers?
Would Jack survive on a technicality?
