Yeah, I'm a native speaker of Chinese. Though that's not really the issue considering whenever the 'snark' situation pop up in Chinese (fan) translations of LNs (eg, Kyon's reactions in Haruhi LNs) the words '吐槽' are used. I have no idea what the proper Chinese translation for Snark is, '吐槽' is generally accepted as meaning that despite it being slang.
