[Evangelion332]

I really enjoyed this series, great action, great animation, good characters, and even greater humor. Adult themes were mixed it to form a perfect medium.

I haven't read the manga yet, but since the story so longer, I will be picking it up =).

Now about the last episode....I can't lie that I'm not disappointed with the lack of care that was given to the rest of the series. The series was rich with modest adult themes then all of the sudden it turned into your regular Pokemon episode with cheesy dialogs and insta-win attacks, with no real logic to back it up. Maybe I'm wrong and courage triumphs all, but there's a bad taste left behind and this ending doesn't cut it.

I really expected Maka's mother to show up out of nowhere and defeat Kishin, at least that has some reasonable logic behind it, even if Maka doesn't get the final victory crown. Justin's battle really should have taken a bigger scene, but they cut him out too short. Maka being a weapon really puts Soul out of the picture, which I felt was unnecessary. I would have preferred Kishin to have stayed a serious tone throughout the ending, instead of "goofing" out at the end.

Overall the series was great, just wished there was more credit given out to the rest of the crew besides Maka.
