I'm not sure how well an animesuki-type system would work with manga... it's actually been tried a few times, but we've always just kind of used BT as a secondary source of bandwidth reduction and ease of initial release more than the end-all of our distrobution system (especially since we have more options than the anime community simply because of the differences in manga and anime file sizes. For example, volumes 1-30 of Ippo is roughly 1 gig, while that same story line in the anime is over 15 times that).
Actually, I'm kind of surprised that we all embraced manga jouhou, considering our current dependance on it... >_>;

oh oh, on a side note, I get a lot of requests for bulk torrents on Hajime no Ippo (like 5 to 10 volume torrents) that I can't really do based on seed restraints and so forth, so if you wanna add that I'd be rather appreciative ^^
