He didn't do much until near the end when Misaka Imouto went to him for help, he doesn't even knows about the situation other than they need his help. Later he ran into Mikoto and tag-team to save Kuroko from being crushed by Awaki. Mikoto made an opening with her Railgun while Touma punched through space-time to stop the huge object from teleporting.

...Oh, and he just, almost, barely, could've, kinda, raised Kuroko's flag... Alittle.

When Awaki was teleporting that very huge objected upon an injured Kuroko, Touma came to the rescue (with Mikoto doing the opening) and then uses his Imagine Breaker to stop that object from teleporting (since I think the bigger the object it, the slower it teleports IDK someone elaborate more).

For massive objects weighing a few tons there is some delay when teleportating them, there is some sort of warp or distortion in spacetime before they materialize.
