You guys know how this works, right?
The Beta MC only has to suffer some kind of physical or psychological torture (which may or may not leave him with white hair) and he becomes an alpha dog.
I can imagine a scenario where something like this could happen here. Perhaps due to his uselessness at some point he is drugged, trapped in a capsule and put a plug in his "private parts" and after a while of suffering could happen what I said before.
