After the end credits roll, the final scene was

"Don't save game"
That sounds like they are talking about a reboot to the beginning in a new proper season. Or at least, that's the plan. They didn't say there will be one, but the ending suggest they are deliberately leaving wriggling room for it rather than abandoning the project.
I would prefer if they just tell us already.
