Guilty Crown's 2nd last episode really helped Ayase I think. It softened her a bit, and gave her a couple nice scenes.
If Ayase has similarly good moments in the GC finale, I could see her reaching the regular season. This would probably be to Inori's benefit as it might get a bit of a GC voting block going.
